Silhouette CAMEO 4 is the latest model of cutting plotter in desktop format created by Silhouette, the machine is dedicated to craftsmen, creatives and DIY enthusiasts.

The Silhouette CAMEO 4 uses a small blade to cut shapes on many materials, including paper, cardboard, adhesive vinyl, thermoadhesive, fabric etc. up to 30.50 centimeters wide and 3 meters long. The Silhouette CAMEO 4 using its technology of optical reading of registration marks, combined with any laser or inkjet printer, can automatically perform contour cuts and printing and cutting jobs; thanks to its very high cutting force and the use of new tools (available shortly) it is also possible to cut felt, fabrics, cotton, velvet, alcantara, imitation leather and more. up to a maximum thickness of 3mm (the correct execution of the cut depends mainly on the hardness of the materials themselves)

Using the functions of the PixScan ™ technology it is possible to make contour cuts on previously printed materials, for example printed photographs or magazine pages and more.
The Silhouette CAMEO 4 connects to your PC or Mac just like your home printer, however, instead of printing, your CAMEO 4 will cut the material you have loaded, with or without the aid of the cutting mat.

With the "Silhouette Studio" software supplied (via free download from www.Silhouetteitaly.com) it is possible to create custom designs and projects without any limit, it is also possible to buy and use ready-made drawings and also various fonts from the "Silhouette Design Store ".

The machine has an integrated Bluetooth adapter, so it is possible to connect the machine even in this wireless mode, however this connection technology may not allow for optimal use of the machine due to the known limitations of Bluetooth technology. The connection system that guarantees full functionality is always the one via USB port.
